Explore and Experience
Séguret comes from the word “Segur,” meaning “secure.” Built into the lacy cliffs known as the Dentelles de Montmirail and protected by its ramparts, this village does seem to be in its own cocoon.

Sablet: A Village With Literary and Historical Charm
Sablet doesn’t have a castle, but at the entrance of the village stand two chapels:
- St. Roch
- St. Nazaire
Built by the Sabletains to thank the village’s patron saint for sparing them from the great plague of 1720. Inside the 15th-century walls, this charming town has pretty stone facades from all eras. Each July, Sablet welcomes over 100 writers for Journées du Livre Festival – a famous book festival.

Vineyards surround each village in this area, and wine tasting is a must. You can find wine caves and tasting rooms in both Séguret and Sablet, as well as in nearby villages known for their Côtes du Rhône wines, including:
