Nouvelle-Aquitaine is the largest region of France, and has something to offer for everyone.  Start in the charming old-world town of La Rochelle, then it's off to the wine area of Bordeaux.  Sweep down the coast to the south, taking plenty of detours inland.   There will be many enchanting surprises along the way.
