We have divided the “Heart of Provence” into three areas, and two separate itineraries. In this package, you purchase both itineraries to be used as a longer trip or two separate trips back to beautiful Provence. We have included the section “Vaison to Ventoux” in each of them, as it is lesser known and worth a detour. 
 
Two Weeks:  You will explore 2 areas that are relatively close in proximity, but whose landscapes and specialties vary greatly! Each is bathed in sunshine and offers a diverse richness. Lavender, olives and grapes abound, but there are subtle differences that are meant to be discovered slowly. Rolling vineyards change abruptly to jagged cliffs, and make for scenic drives that require a steady wit.  
 
Three Weeks:  Ah, taking the time to wander and enjoy is what joie de vivre is all about. You will get your fill of Roman ruins, follow in the footsteps of van Gogh, and see firsthand the passion and savoir-faire of artisans of all kinds. You will have time to explore, on foot, on bike or horseback, and commune with the natural beauty this area has to offer.
